The Riad is stunning, it’s the perfect blend of traditional Moroccan design and modern luxury touches. The ambience creates a real sense of calm, as soon as you step foot into the courtyard. The traditional architecture with a central courtyard, creates a serene vibe and you feel a world away from the chaotic streets of the Medina. Why not escape the oppressive heat of the city by taking a dip in the plunge pool? The perfect spot to unwind.Riad Dar Dada ReviewThe Rooms

The Yakout Double room envelops you with a sense of calm, with its blue interiors – inspired by the expansive Moroccan skies. The rooms provide all the comforts of home, with comfortable beds and air-conditioning to ensure a restful sleep.

The bathroom was stunning, such a design feature of the room, with complimentary toiletries. The only windows in the room do overlook the courtyard, this is typical of a Riad, but worth noting.

Breakfast at Riad Dar Dada is served on the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the glorious morning sunshine. The selection is a local style breakfast alongside fruit, fresh juice and tea or coffee.

It’s a wonderful space to enjoy a peaceful start to your day.

The Verdict

Riad Dar Dada is the perfect base for a Marrakech adventure whilst enjoying unparalleled hospitality.4 days in Marrakech itinerarySituated in the Medina, only a 20 minute from Jamaa el Fna you’re within walking distance to many of the city’s historical sites, yet maintains a tranquil and secluded atmosphere. The nearby Bab Aylan is where you can easily grab a taxi to get around the city.

The staff are friendly and professional, the rooms have all the amenities you could require and the Riad feels like an oasis with traditional Moroccan vibes. One thing to note is you have to walk to through some narrow streets to reach the accommodation. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend this place to solo travellers. I think it could be unnerving walking alone in the evenings or mornings when its dark.

If you’re travelling with someone, don’t hesitate to book this Riad, you will have a beautiful experience in Marrakech.
