Centara Ras Fushi, Maldives | Review

Last month I went on a Maldivian island hopping adventure, which included staying at Centara Ras Fushi Resort and Spa. I was so excited about this trip as the Maldives had always been a dream destination for me and in the weeks leading up to it, I stalked the Maldives hashtag on Instagram way more than I should have!
However, nothing can prepare you for how naturally beautiful this place really is.
Centara Ras Fushi resort is located pretty close to the airport island, which is ideal after a long flight as the transfer is much quicker when you don’t need to take a seaplane. Arriving at the resort was breath taking, the water is crystal clear and the most incredible turquoise colour.Centara Ras Fushi

Whenever I arrive at a new destination, my first instinct is to head straight for the beach. It doesn’t take long to walk around the resort as the island is not big, but it’s very pretty with all of the greenery lining the roads.  Whilst the beach itself is relatively small, the pool and bar overlooking the ocean is a great place to relax. My favourite spot was the table in the ocean, such a nice places to have a cocktail, soak in some rays and enjoy the view! One of the best moments of staying on this island was when we went snorkelling. The waters close to the shore are filled with beautiful tropical fish and we had only been in the water a few minutes when we spotted baby sharks swimming only a few meters from the shore. It was the most surreal experience to be in the water right next to them. The Verdict
There were a few small areas where improvements could be made and a downside to the convenient location is that you can see the built up island of Male from one side of the resort. However, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives! With a great selection of food and delicious drinks on offer, this is the perfect resort for those looking to enjoy a relaxing break in the Maldives without breaking the bank.

What did you think of my review of Centara Ras Fushi Resort in the Maldives?
