The Quincy is a stylish boutique hotel located within walking distance of Orchard Road.
From the moment you step into the lobby, the unique and youthful aesthetic of the hotel is evident. There are sleek floor to ceiling windows surrounding the lobby and dining area, the reception area consists of electric pink and red suede chairs, cow skin rugs and quirky artwork on display – my personal favourite is the dog cushions!Head up to the 12th floor and you will find an infinity pool with city views, a gym, sauna and steam room. The pool has an amazing glass cube design with a window in the bottom looking down on the road – such a cool feature.I have to admit, my favourite area to relax was the outdoor seating area. With the surrounding greenery and water feature, it felt like you were miles away from the hectic city. I also loved the quirky outdoor furniture – very in keeping with the hotel’s vibe.
Our Studio Room had a contemporary feel, with very minimalistic and sleek design features.
The room is spacious for Singapore, boasting a king size bed and a huge bay window with a seating area, which is perfect for taking in the incredible views of the surrounding skyscrapers. This lets in an abundance of natural light to the room, even on the grey, rainy days that we unfortunately experienced in the city. The bathroom offers both a bathtub and separate rain shower, with the highlight being the glass wall that allows you to see the city views from the tub! So why not take advantage of the complimentary Lush bath bomb and enjoy the views of the skyline at the same time? The Studio Rooms at The Quincy come with all of the amenities you could require for a stay in the city. There are complimentary Le Labo toiletries in Santal 33, which is a unisex scent. You have use of The Handy device (if you haven’t heard of this, it’s a mobile phone that you can take out with you meaning you have access to internet and free calls), complimentary laundry services available and last but certainly not least is the complimentary in room mini bar.
The rooms at The Quincy come with a complimentary continental breakfast, snacks throughout the day and a buffet dinner. With all of the amazing food available in Singapore, we tended to eat outside of the hotel – however the light refreshments available are great for an afternoon snack with a coffee. Plus, who can resist free ice cream? Not me!There are complimentary cocktails available from 6pm to 8pm, a great time to enjoy a Singapore Sling before heading out to explore the city at night.
The Quincy is a unique and stylish hotel, with a modern concept that sets it apart from other options in the area. The Quincy Hotel offers incredible value for money with complimentary refreshments throughout the day, evening cocktails, in room mini bar, Wifi, Handy device and laundry service. With all of your needs taken care of, how can you not enjoy a stay at this hotel? I’ll definitely be heading back on my next stop in Singapore.
