Island hopping in Krabi.

If you find yourself in Krabi, you should definitely add island hopping to your itinerary. With incredible scenery of limestone cliffs, white beaches and turquoise sea – it’s a perfect way to spend a day.

There are SO many tour operators in Ao Nang offering variations of the same trip, so you can certainly find something for all budgets. But, if you’re like me, you’ll want to avoid the crowds and explore at your own pace – the best option is definitely to hire your own long tail boat for the day!

You are able to tell your driver where you want to visit, how long you want to stay in one spot and snorkelling is usually included. It’s also super relaxing riding in a traditional long tail boat while soaking up the sun – and this is coming from someone who is NOT a fan of boats!

We managed to find some beautiful secluded spots, even during the busiest season…

My Tip: Head to the pier in Ao Nang early on a morning! Boats start heading out at 8am, this means you will arrive at the islands before they get super crowded.

I hope this gives you a little inspiration for Wanderlust Wednesday! Have you been island hopping in Thailand before? If you have any recommendations, let me know below.
